Meet the Soviet At

The Soviet At is a Post-Punk band from Manaus, formed in 2020. Since the beginning, the band has stood out for its constant search for new musical inspirations, with the permanence of keyboardist David Sutter since its formation. In 2020, vocalist Matheus Kiev had his first contact with post-punk, especially the doomer subgenre, which resulted in the creation of tracks like "Suicide Disorder".

Beyond its musical journey, Soviet At also stands out for its contribution to the independent scene in Manaus. The band has created its own music distribution label with the goal of supporting other local bands at no cost to them. This label aims to help launch and promote the first single of new bands in the city, offering them the opportunity to reach a larger audience and gain visibility in the music scene. This movement has sparked a wave of innovation, and Soviet At is bringing fresh energy to Manaus, a city where the alternative music scene is still developing.

For 2025, the band is excited about new projects and already anticipates the emergence of two new bands directly influenced by Soviet At's work, marking an important step in the evolution of the local Gothic music scene. The band believes that 2025 will be a decisive year, both for the growth of its own project and for the Manaus music scene as a whole.
